GoGone (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides the RaiseHigh: Volume Booster Android application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the App, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Information handled on your device
The App processes volume and audio-enhancement settings locally so that its core features can work. Settings such as selected volume level, boost state, preferences, and warning acknowledgement may be stored in the App’s private storage on your device. We do not operate a user-account system and do not ask you to provide your name, postal address, phone number, contacts, photos, or files.
RaiseHigh uses Android audio APIs to adjust supported output settings. The App does not request microphone permission, does not record audio, and does not upload your music, calls, or media content to us.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The App uses Google services that may automatically collect and process limited information. The exact data available can depend on your device, Android version, consent choices, region, and Google settings.
Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform (UMP)
AdMob is used to display advertisements. Google may process approximate location derived from an IP address, ad views and interactions, app and device diagnostics, and device or advertising identifiers. This information may be used to provide ads, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain service security. Where required, the App uses Google’s UMP consent flow before requesting ads. Your consent and privacy choices can be reviewed from the App’s Privacy Options screen when that option is required for your region.
Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics helps us understand general App usage and improve reliability. It may automatically process an app-instance identifier, device or advertising identifier when available, approximate location derived from a masked IP address, device and app information, app lifecycle events, screen views, sessions, and limited interactions such as notification opens. We do not set a Firebase user ID or send your name, email address, phone number, audio content, or media files to Analytics.
Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Crashlytics helps diagnose crashes and stability problems. It may process crash logs, stack traces, device and operating-system information, app version, installation identifiers, and technical diagnostics related to a failure. We do not intentionally add your name, email address, phone number, or audio content to crash reports.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
FCM may be used to deliver App notifications. Google may process an app-instance or registration token and basic device or app information needed to route and deliver a message. The App does not upload the FCM registration token to a developer-operated account database.
3. How information is used
Information described in this policy may be used to:
- provide and maintain the App’s audio-enhancement features;
- display and measure advertisements;
- manage consent and privacy choices;
- understand general App usage and improve performance;
- detect crashes, diagnose errors, and prevent fraud or abuse; and
- deliver requested or service-related notifications.
4. Android permissions and device access
The App may request or declare the following access:
- Modify audio settings: required for the App’s core volume and boost controls.
- Foreground service: used to keep a user-started audio-enhancement session active and visible.
- Notifications: used for the foreground-service notification and other App notifications. On supported Android versions, you can allow or deny this permission.
- Internet and network state: used by ads, consent, Firebase, and network availability checks.
- Vibration: used for supported feedback or notification behavior.
The App does not request access to your microphone, contacts, precise device location, camera, calendar, SMS messages, call logs, or shared photos and files.
5. Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell your personal information. Limited information may be transmitted to Google through AdMob, UMP, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and FCM as described above. Google processes that information under its own terms and privacy policies and may share advertising-related information as necessary to provide and measure ads, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.
6. Your choices
- You can use the App’s Privacy Options screen to review or change eligible advertising consent choices.
- You can manage notification permission in Android system settings.
- You can reset or limit the advertising identifier through your device’s privacy settings, where supported.
- You can clear the App’s local data or uninstall the App to remove locally stored preferences.
7. Data retention and deletion
Local App preferences remain on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall it. Information processed by Google is retained according to the applicable Google service settings and retention policies. Because the App does not provide user accounts, we generally cannot identify data held by Google from an email address alone. You may still contact us with a privacy or deletion request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical safeguards and rely on encrypted network connections provided by Android and our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so that we can review the matter.
10. International processing
Google and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their policies and applicable legal safeguards.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date on this page.
