Who we are
GoGone Tools (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent Android utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party messaging platform. Questions, privacy requests, and bug reports can be sent to gogonefeedback@gmail.com.
Information you provide and local app data
The App does not require an account. Text entered into tools, generated output, selected media, saved status files, profile images, and chat-layout preview content are processed locally on your device. We do not operate a server that receives this content.
Chat-layout and call previews are simulations stored locally for mockup and personal design purposes. They are not genuine messages or calls. Chat Cleaner is an animation-only preview; it does not inspect storage, scan folders, change files, delete media, or report real freed space. You can remove local app data by deleting content within the App where available, clearing the App’s storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the App.
Media and storage access
On current Android versions, the App uses Android’s system picker so you can choose a supported folder or an individual image. The App receives access only to the item or folder you select. It may keep Android’s permission to a selected folder so that the status feature continues to work until you revoke access or clear the App’s data.
When you choose Save, Download, Copy, or Share, the App may create a local file or provide the selected content to an app you choose through Android’s sharing interface. The destination app’s privacy practices then apply. Older Android versions may use limited legacy storage permissions required by those versions.
Advertising, consent, and data shared with advertising providers
The App uses Google Mobile Ads with AdMob mediation, which may include Meta Audience Network as a bidding source. In the current build, advertising is limited to consent-aware banner placements on the Caption Results list and ASCII Faces list. App Open and interstitial ad formats are not included. Home, Direct Chat, other tools, guides, permission flows, empty states, media viewers, and this privacy policy contain no ad placement.
The App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request consent where required. Ads are not requested until the consent system indicates that ad requests are permitted.
Google Mobile Ads and participating mediation partners may process IP address (which may be used to estimate approximate location), app interactions such as launches and taps, diagnostic and performance information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID. They use this information for advertising, analytics, service delivery, security, and fraud prevention according to applicable consent choices and their own policies. Data sent by the advertising SDKs is encrypted in transit where supported.
We do not intentionally send selected media, phone numbers entered in Direct Chat, generated text, or local chat-preview content to Google Mobile Ads or Meta Audience Network.
Your available advertising and consent controls depend on your region and device. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. Where offered, you can make choices in the consent message. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information.
Analytics and push notifications
The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve the App. Firebase may process app interactions, device or other identifiers, device information, and diagnostic information according to Google’s policies.
The App uses OneSignal and Firebase Cloud Messaging infrastructure to deliver push notifications. OneSignal data collection is consent-gated in the App and begins when you continue with notification enablement or when a previously granted notification permission is recognized. OneSignal may process push subscription tokens, session and notification interactions, device and app information, language, time zone, country inferred from network information, IP address, and related service diagnostics. The App does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, selected media, or local chat-preview content to OneSignal through custom tags or user-identification calls.
After you reach the Home screen, the App may show Android’s official notification permission prompt once. OneSignal data collection is enabled while that request is made and is disabled if permission is denied. You can retry from More > Notifications, deny the request, or revoke notification permission in Android settings.
Google Play rating
After meaningful use, the App may ask Google Play to show its official In-App Review card. Google Play decides whether the card appears. GoGone Tools does not receive the rating or review text entered in that card and does not learn whether a review was submitted. Google Play’s terms and privacy policy apply to this flow.
Third-party service providers
The App uses the following third-party services to provide advertising, consent management, analytics, notifications, app distribution, and the official rating flow. These providers may process the categories described elsewhere in this policy under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Google Play services and Google Play: app distribution, platform services, and In-App Review — Google Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and User Messaging Platform: advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and consent choices — Google advertising information
- Firebase Analytics and Firebase Cloud Messaging: aggregate app analytics and push-delivery infrastructure — Firebase Privacy and Security
- OneSignal: push-notification delivery and notification/session interactions — OneSignal Privacy Policy
- Meta Audience Network: an advertising mediation or bidding source when enabled — Meta Privacy Policy
The availability of a provider may depend on consent, region, device, ad inventory, and the production dashboard configuration. GoGone Tools does not use StartApp in the reviewed version.
Log data and diagnostics
If the App or an integrated service encounters an error or is used normally, the advertising, analytics, notification, and platform providers listed above may automatically process technical information. This may include IP address, device model, operating-system and App version, language, time zone, network information, timestamps, session or interaction events, advertising or app identifiers, and diagnostic or performance data.
We do not intentionally place text you enter, selected media, Direct Chat phone numbers, or local preview content into custom analytics events, notification tags, or developer-operated logs. The reviewed App does not include Firebase Crashlytics. Provider-generated diagnostics are handled according to the provider policies linked above.
Cookies and similar technologies
GoGone Tools is a native Android App and does not itself set browser cookies. Third-party SDKs may use advertising identifiers, app-instance identifiers, local SDK storage, or similar technologies for service delivery, analytics, consent, security, and fraud prevention. Websites opened from the App may use cookies under their own policies. You can use Android advertising controls, App storage controls, consent choices where available, and browser settings to manage applicable identifiers or cookies.
Third-party websites and apps
The App may open a third-party website, a compatible messaging app, an email app, the GoGone developer page, or Google Play when you choose an open, share, report, rate, or More Apps action. We do not control those services. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave GoGone Tools.
Data retention and deletion
We do not retain your selected media, entered text, or chat-preview content on our servers because we do not receive it. Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear App storage, or uninstall the App. Advertising, analytics, and notification-service data is retained by Google, Meta, or OneSignal according to their applicable policies and your choices. Privacy requests may be sent to the contact address above.
Security
Local content is protected by Android’s application sandbox and device security. Service providers state that protected network transport is used for their SDK traffic. No technical system can guarantee absolute security, so keep your device and Android security updates current.
Children’s privacy
GoGone Tools is not designed for children under 13 and should not be listed as targeting children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided information in a way covered by this policy, contact us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal data handled by advertising providers, including access, deletion, correction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Contact us for App-related requests and use Google’s privacy controls for data handled by Google.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, law, or third-party services change. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where required.
